Treyarch has announced detail on the first DLC for Black Ops. The "First Strike" pack will include 4 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie map. Multiplayer maps introduce maps from singleplayer Discovery; a german research lab in the arctic; and Kowloon; the rooftops of Kowloon from Numbers. There are also new maps like the Berlin Wall and Stadium, a hokey rink in the US. No details have been stated yet on what the new zombie map 'Ascension' would be. The map pack will be available for all consoles including PC and the release date for the XBOX360 version is Tuesday 1st February 2011, expect the other platforms to come out about a month later.

I think this is really cool and I look forward to playing the new maps. It looks like Treyarch is listening to what the community want and will probably have 3-4 more map packs in the future like World at War
