Hello guys, As it seems Mother Nature decided to strike a blow again. Tokyo (CNN) -- An 8.9-magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan on Friday, triggering tsunamis and sending a massive wave filled with debris that included boats and houses inching toward land. The number of fatalities was unclear, but Japan's Kyodo news reported at least 10 killed and numerous injured. The quake prompted at least 19 countries and numerous Pacific islands to issue tsunami warnings. It was followed by powerful aftershocks that were felt in capital of Tokyo. The quake's epicenter was 373 kilometers (231 miles) away from Tokyo, the United States Geological Survey said. But residents there continued to feel aftershocks long after the quakeI pray for everyone's safetyness in Japan, hope that they would suffer casualties as minimal as they cold, and recover such a great country 'back to life' once again.

This is really terrible. It's all over the news all day long, and i get so sad each time i watch it Nobody in Norway or other scandinavian european countries can imagine how this is, because tsunamis and earthquakes can't happen over here. Since Japan is lying on a continental plate border, this is very normal over there sadly. It seems like that humans can't fight against wind and water I can't imagine loosing everything i own in just some minutes. -sad norwegian Simen

I feel thankful as well as sad for Phillipines, because they were also hit by the tsunami, but it was also shielding Thailand from more destruction.
