Sometimes, there are things we don't craft in Minecraft because you're behind the update or too busy to do anything. So here are things where people don't craft much.
1. Boat: Some people (like Auto) ignored or didn't know such things existed. Get 5 wood, craft a boat, and go on water. If it crashes too much or is destroyed, will become 3 wood and 2 sticks.
2. Portal: If you didn't know they exist, that's okay. It came pretty recent in the game, and you must have a width of 4 and a height of 5 blocks of obsidian for a frame. Get steel and flint, use it on the bottom of that large flame, and it opens. Go into the portal, and congradulations, you just went to the Nether (aka. HELL)
3. Fishing Rod: YES, they have a use now. Fish. To craft, you must have 3 sticks and 2 string. This is the most easiest way to get food, unless you have lots of pig and crops around. Use it on the water and wait. Once the hook begins to drop you have a couple of seconds to pull. There are an unlimited amount of fish, limited amount of durability for you fishing rod.
4. Compass: I think you would ignore this. You must have one redstone dust and 4 steel surrounding it. It points back to your spawn point, but when do you need such thing? Unless you're lost, its useful, but most people ignore this because they are more like explorers or they can find their way back.
5. Watch: Its crafted by 4 golden ore and 1 redstone dust. I wonder why not much people crafts them. Sure its hard to find, but If your in a cave (where most people go) and don't know the time, you don't know how to prepare. Craft one, use one, and prepare for the inevitable in the cave.
6. Ore block: It's good for compacting things and keeping them safe. You do this with any type of the same ore, and use nine of it to fill the 3x3 and make the block. Only problem? You need those ore to make other stuff. You don't wanna waste 9 of them on one block do you? Its a good thing, but sometimes, the smaller stuff are for the best.
7. Clothblock: You might be wondering, "I get a lot of that from sheep, and I use it too sometimes. So what's the problem. The problem is the other way to craft it. 9 string on the 3x3 grid. Are you f*cking serious? I had to kill spiders, risk my life, just to make one block? SHEEP! EWE! RAM! That's so much better.
8. Golden Apple: 8 Golden Ore Blocks and an apple to restore all ten hearts. Okay, but don't you think the same thing can be done with are more, abundant and less expensive way?
9. Jukebox: One diamond and 8 wood. Okay, so how do I get the record. WHAT! From a creeper by skeleton arrow? That's so hard. But hey, after I done it, the music must be cool *play* OKAY, OKAY, CREEPY ENOUGH!
10: Lightstone: What the hell is that? Sure I find that in the Nether, but what does that do? 9 Lightstone dust? Serious? What the hell would I use that for? Why the fu- *sees use* hey, it isn't that bad. You can light underwater? Cool! I was so sick of not seeing underwater to find where I was going! Why doesn't anybody craft this?
Well, that's my thought for the least universally crafted stuff in Minecraft. I also want to know what's the list for you (reason is optional). Tell me in the comments below.
