A thread/post/comment is comprised of a title, a message, and the responses to said message in the form of "posts".
The replies, as well as the original message, should be written in a way that is understood (or at least attempted) by the general audience.
Now that this has been explained, let us dabble into the true meaning of "understood".
What is meant by "understood" is an undertone, if you read between the lines, of the following:
- Do NOT use so many spaces in your text that the message is lost or that two or three lines end up looking like two or three pages.
- Do NOT abuse the use of the "color" attribute.
Yes we are all children of a neo hippy age, but this does not mean that you may molest the brains of each viewer by giving them a psychedelic seizure.
- Do NOT excessively use "text-decorations" (bold, italic, underline) within your threads/posts.
Yes, once again I must admit, a few decorations here and there have a "neat" feeling..however, the ENTIRE POST should NOT be bold/italic/underline.
There are, of course, more assumed "rules" implied by "understood", however, these appear to be the most blatant violations.
It is my hope that those of you who have been in obvious fault of the previous listing will now correct your "errors" for the benefit of the rest of us reading.
